A bull's-eye
on the competition for accuracy |
The Catapult
competition was the main event for Saturday afternoon and also the
beginning of the rain. |
Simple, sturdy, but not exactly hand hewn and
lashed. The entries ranged from primitive to engineering
marvels. In the end, range and accuracy did not go
"hand-in-hand"
The "Hernia-maker"

Required modification to meet gravity requirements
but had the only articulated "fling-shot arm"

Big Red!

Add more sand! More Sand!

Used sand and a cement block for gravity power

Certainly the most logging chain, lead weights and most
rustic wheels of any entry!
