Lake Minnetonka District Roundtables

Roundtable is the first Thursday of every month. There is a separate session for the Cub Scout Leaders and the Boy Scout Leaders. On the Cub Scout side, there is information for all leaders, including break out sessions for Committee Chairs, Cubmasters, Den Leaders and Tiger Coaches. For the Boy Scout leaders, bring your Troop committee members, Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters. The aim at Boy Scout Roundtable is to provide the will and skill "to do" in the form of training, inspiration, enthusiasm and vision. Fellowship with other Scout Leaders is a vital part of the Roundtable experience so come prepared to mix with other dedicated Scouting Volunteers. Meetings are held the first Thursday of each month at the Minnetonka Community Center and start at 7:30 PM. The Minnetonka Community Center is just west of I494 in Minnetonka on County Road 5.

The Cub Scout Roundtable

What is Roundtable?
Roundtables are a supplemental training for leaders at the pack level to provide examples for:

• *Pack and den meetings
• *Information on policy
• *Events and training opportunities
• *Ideas for crafts
• *Games
• *Ceremonies
• *An opportunity to share Cub Scout experience
• *An opportunity to share Cub Scout fellowship

Why Attend?

• It's Cub Scout leaders having fun while learning.
• It's an information source for leaders.
• It's a meeting where leaders can discuss and share what works in their dens and packs-success stories!
• It's a Cub Scout program in action.
• It's a training know-how show.
• Meet with your Unit Commissioners.
  

Who Attends Roundtables?

Roundtables are designed for all pack leaders:

• *Committee Chair
• *Cubmasters
• *Den leaders
• *Webelos leaders
• *Assistants
• *Den leader coaches
• *Tiger coaches
• *Prospective members
  

Unit commissioners attend the roundtables in which their leaders are involved. This may mean dividing their time between roundtables for Cub Scout and Boy Scout leaders.
