DID YOU KNOW?

 

  • 2002 Food Drive

    • When: Saturday, April 27th

    Who: All Cub Packs, Scout Troop, Venture Crews and Explorer Posts.

    What: Scouting for Food is Viking Council's annual "Good Turn" project for needy families in our community.  Last year 20,000 Scouts collected over one-half million pounds of food.  Through this effort Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturers and Explorers experience the good feeling that comes from helping others and learn that by working together they can make a positive difference in the community.

    What to do next?: In Metro Lakes contact Nick Heille @ 612-789-6527.  Nick will assign your unit an area to cover for distribution of food bags and pickup of food.

    Email how many pounds your unit gathers on April 27th and we'll post it on this page.
