The
patch shown above is the official 2008 Many Point Patch! The
stars and words glow in the dark!
Many
Point is the second largest Scout Camp in the United States
covering over 2,400 acres of woods and lakes located near Park
Rapids, MN. Scouts from the Twin Cities and all over the
world have enjoyed this camp since it opened in 1946.
Featuring over 8 miles of waterfront activity on two lakes;
hiking; bicyling; horse back riding; pioneering; and 30 Merit
Badge programs, there are activities for everyone! Many
Point is located in the White Earth State Forest and borders the
43,000 acre Tamarac Wildlife Refuge. There are also regular
overnite outings to the Itasca National Park and the headwaters of
the Mississippi. Troops from Outside of the Viking Council

The
ScoutingBSA.org web site is a
legacy site of the Viking Council BSA, now Northern Star Council.
This site was the original council site and was active from 1996 to
2002 and run by volunteers. As the web became more important to
Scouting, the council took over with paid staff. This site is no
longer maintained but is an interesting snapshot of an early Scouting
web site. You can share your comments using our
