Venturing Joining Process

Venturing is easy to join.

The Viking Council service area includes the western half of the metropolitan Twin Cities, Central Minnesota and portions of Stearns and Swift counties.

• You may join anytime.

• Check for joining locations nearest you.

   at 763-545-4550.

• You will be asked to fill out a joining application when you attend a Crew Meeting.

• Yearly National membership fee of $7.00
   
• Uniform – price varies depending upon one chosen by your crew to match the activities in which they participate.  The green Venturing shirt with gray backpacking style shorts is the standard uniform but the crew might design a T-shirt on polo shirt that would represent them best.
   
• Activities normally have a fee.  Your crew will develop an annual plan of activities along with a budget needed to support those activities.  The crew will conduct fundraisers to help meet the budget so that all may participate.
